For Fade, Amber Fade and Acid Fade the gradient is fixed by the paint seed. A higher percentage means a fuller fade, which collectors pay more for. This calculator reproduces the Source-engine generator, so the number matches the game exactly.
Case Hardened skins mix blue, gold and purple by paint seed. Seeds with the most blue on the play side are Blue Gems — the most valuable. Enter a Case Hardened skin with its seed to check its tier.
