CS2 Fade % Calculator & Blue Gem Pattern Checker

Enter a skin as Weapon | Finish and its paint seed (0–1000) to get the exact Fade percentage and, for Case Hardened, the Blue Gem tier. The fade value is computed by formula and matches the game.

CS2 fade percentage, explained

For Fade, Amber Fade and Acid Fade finishes the amount of gradient is fixed by the paint seed. A higher percentage means a fuller fade, which collectors pay more for. This calculator reproduces the Source-engine generator, so the number matches the in-game value exactly — no marketplace or inspect link needed.

Blue Gem & Case Hardened patterns

Case Hardened skins show a mix of blue, gold and purple that depends on the paint seed. Seeds with the most blue on the play side are called Blue Gems and are the most valuable. Enter a Case Hardened skin with its seed to check whether it’s a curated top-tier pattern.

Where to find the paint seed

The paint seed (pattern index) is a number from 0 to 1000. You can read it with our Float Checker from an inspect link, or copy it from a marketplace listing that shows pattern/paint seed.
